RBO Really Cleans Up!

Thanks to everyone that came out for two Saturday mornings for our Earth Day Cleanup.  We had a great group and got so much accomplished.  We worked and bagged trash from Broken Arrow, down Depot Street, The Landing, and on down Highway 78 way past the Marina.  Everybody worked so hard.  It was great!

Thanks also go to those RBO members working on Saturday, April 20 and a few that could not be with us for bringing water, drinks, chips, hot dogs, and cookies so we were able to provide lunch for anyone that helped out.

We live in such a wonderful city and it is always great to have such good community support for our projects and activities.  Thanks again to everyone that participated.  We want to keep our city beautiful.

Next Project:

Building flower beds
at the Landing!

Will post dates for this project
when we need help.

Next activity:

5th Annual Riverside Poker Run!

Save the Date: June 15th.

Riverside Clean Up!

Let's get ready for Spring!  Warm weather will be here soon, so we want to get everything cleaned up for "pontoon and fishing season".

On March 16th, starting at town hall at 9:00 a.m., RBO will be conducting a street cleanup, picking up trash along Depot Street. If everyone helps, we can have our main street looking great in about two hours.

On March 23, RBO will do their part by working in collaboration with Logan Martin Lake Protection Association http://www.lmlpa.org  to be a part of the Renew Our Rivers Project.  RBO will be working to clean up the Landing and surrounding recreational areas.  Come join our group, but be sure and sign up at Riverside Marina as well to get your free bags and t-shirt for the cleanup.

After the cleanup, our Mayor and First Lady will be helping cook lunch at Lakeside Landing for anyone that helped with the cleanup.  Go by and see them and enjoy lunch.
